I'm with hellcat, the clear glass/acrylic table is a perfect option - it all revolves around what you put on the table. Alternatively, metal & coloured glass could be an option - Ikea has the Strind range available with white or black glass.

Such a lovely home, beautiful fabrics & plenty of thought has delivered the goods. My only concern is the kitchen, the vast space where the wall oven resides has a past which likely involved a large combustion type stove. Why fill in & board over such awesomeness?

My neighbour doesn't have a car but has a carspace, we have awesome WiFi & a media server. We share the carspace & WiFi. It's one of those rare situations that works really well without being too close

The mid century quality "bones" are already clearly evident in your bathroom, just add some quality towels & subtle/neutral accessories to create the luxurious effect.

The louvered shutters have to go, simply frost the glass with some opaquing film from your local glazier to retain privacy.

And for the inexpensive way to make your toilet water efficient, just put a house brick in the cistern & save at least 1-2 litres per flush!
