PEACHES! i was just thinking last night about how ready i am for peach season to begin. to hold myself over until then, i bought a bag of frozens to toss into smoothies... sigh.

thank you for this! i much prefer mexico's bright colors and sunshine to chicago's dreary grey skies and dreary greystone apartment buildings, and these pictures were just what i needed on this cold, snowy evening.

what! where can one purchase one of those beautiful $14 creamers?!

my parents still live in the same old house i grew up in. i spent the summer after college going through everything i'd accumulated over the years and got rid of tons of junk, just in case they ever want to downsize and move.

that being said, i'm more attached to my parents' neighborhood than their house. so i'd completely support a move as long as they stayed in the area.

i know i'm kind of late to the discussion and i also know i'm a little more obsessed with baby blue/teal than your average person, but i keep coming back to this picture from an old AT house tour: http://gallery.apartmenttherapy.com/photo/sf-kat-house-tour/item/117273

even if you don't paint the chairs teal, i think a bold color with the wood table would look amazing. you could even leave the seats of the chair as-is to tie it all together.

bruschetta (martha has a couple of recipes here: http://www.marthastewart.com/article/bruschetta-recipes), guacamole with chips, and tiny handheld spanikopita triangles are my favorite finger foods.

i'm so obsessed with cheese that it was actually the first word i ever said and my parents referred to me as "the dairy queen" until my early 20's. but in the last month or so, it's come to my attention that cheese makes me really, really sick. at first i started subbing in soy products - soy cream cheese, soy milk, soy pepperjack (wha!?), but my stomach doesn't react well to those either. i've been leaning heavily on avocados, peanut butter, and coconut milk (which is amazing in coffee!) since then...
