As I understand it, there really isn't much evidence that HFCS is more harmful than sugar. HFCS is simply a marker of a highly-processed food. Removing the marker doesn't make the food any better for you.

We keep looking for the one thing we can change in our diet-- add antioxidants, remove corn syrup, add omega-3s-- but none of these things will replace simply eating better, real foods.

We have a Rabbit Air BioGS (the 780 sq ft model), and it works wonders in our 950 sq ft city apartment. It does especially well with clearing the air of chemical or cooking smells, and it has reduced my boyfriend's allergy problems significantly. I do sometimes move it around and I feel it may dehumidify the air a bit, but the air in our place is noticeably different when it's off or closed in the bedroom.

Sugar substitutes are just as sweet and probably not any healthier for a baby-- maybe, instead of a no-sugar cake, try a low-sugar cake. A carrot cake (with cream cheese/honey frosting?) sounds great, since the carrot flavors and sweetens. :)

Jamie is doing something that really does need to be done, and I am hopeful to see how well he can do it. It's not about weight, it's about overall health, which can't be reached eating the type of "food products" (which have little actual food in them) these kids consume at nearly every meal.

He and Michelle Obama are using their reach for good, and I and my family are completely behind them. Viva la revolucion de comida! :)

Gorgeous! I would consider keeping something like this as a hobby. It's awesome. What a lovely addition to a studio.

BTW-- there's no downward dog in Bikram yoga class. ;)

I saw this gorgeous bedding in Anthropologie recently. Here's a small orange-printed sheet set for good measure:
