Hello,

I shall resurrect this thread because the Unni Cirkel has gone down to $49.00 (!) from $249.00. On a whim I picked it up because it is a large wool rug for $49.00. (heh) In any event, I bought it with hopes of using it within my primed and ready to paint small office. So, right now I have blank walls and this rug. Any suggestions for wall colours to match this rug?

Thanks!

Yes.
I have a terrier-healer-something mutt who will run through mud without a worry. I found a "paw monster" cleaning tool on sale at a local shoppe and gave it a shot. It does a good job quickly getting out the mud from between the claws and wiping the belly. But sometimes she needs more than just a quick paw wipe and requires a towel.

In my situation, the door from the backyard to the kitchen is enclosed within a small enclosed stairway. When I let my dog inside she will wait for me at the top of the stairs and not go into the main house until I say "okay". If she sees me grab the cleaning tool or towel, or if I say "paw" she will raise her right front paw. After I finish cleaning one paw, she will lift up another, and then turn around and raise her rear paws one at a time. She knows the drill. :-)

"the solution to that is simply to close the lid before flushing."

Unless your toilet has a gasket that offers a tight seal, closing the lid will not eliminate fecal water spray. Clean towels stacked out in the open are no longer "clean" after a flush. I have a small closet in a hall close to the bathroom where I keep my clean towels, but if I had to keep extra towels in the bathroom, I would use a wall-mounted cabinet that closed tightly.

I am no germ-phobe, but experiments I did in college definitely impacted how I store items in the bathroom.
