Cork! We have hardwoods, carpet, rubber, and cork all in different areas of our house, and by far I love the cork the most. It's toasty warm on my feet in the morning in the bathroom. Suggestions for New Flooring? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

I have a buckwheat pillow that I LOVE. I am a side sleeper, it's perfect for my neck. That being said, it is a bitch to clean. It's easily an 1 hour long ordeal to try to get all the buckwheat out of the pillow out of that teeny tiny hole, then wash (or I bake the buckwheat), then wash the pillow case, then refill the whole thing. We did a small remodel last summer and the most expensive thing was the hood. We got a HUGE professional grade hood that actually makes it difficult to close the front and back door when it's running on high because it's sucking so hard. Do You Have a Range Hood? I just made this one last night. It's Jerry Traunfeld's (formerly of the Herbfarm) and of course it's loaded with herbs. The texture is amazing, it melts in your mouth. What Is the Best Way To: Cook Salmon Filets? | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

If you're feeling adventurous, norwegian lefse is one of the most delicious and comforting things I have ever eaten. Our neighbor used to make them with us and we'd eat them fresh off the griddle with butter. She would also send us home with a ziploc bag full which would sometimes get frozen, they thawed nicely. Rarely. I had a homemade dark chocolate brownie with almond butter and chunks of almonds and walnuts this morning! But I always need a decaf americano. I load it up with some half&half so at least it's some calories. Weekday Routines: Do You Usually Eat Breakfast? | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

We have expanko rubber and cork tiles. I love them, but I also sweep daily and mop about every other day. We have dropped heavy things on them and not noticed any denting. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with is we didn't install a new subfloor, just filled and thoroughly sanded the old subfloor and you can see every little imperfection through the tiles. We decided to ditch our t.v. a few years ago, very ceremoniously on superbowl sunday and have never looked back. I found myself constantly turning it on when at home and 2 hours later, I'm still sitting there when I really had a bunch of things I was looking forward to doing. If there's something really big we want to watch on t.v. we go to our local brewpub and watch it. Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | AT on ... Going Green By Default |
