This may not work for the particular pieces that you have in mind since they are already framed, but an option could be to hang just dry mounted artwork above the crib. We have a dry mounted piece above our bed and it is so light weight I've never been concerned about it falling on someone. How To Safely Hang Pictures Above Crib? Good Questions |

I love the Eurobath. When my daughter was really tiny, we put a towel in there for support. Now she is 8 months and still fits great. Actually two 8 month olds fit in it. The best part is the molded interior that accomodates little babies on one side and bigger sitting babies on the other. It is large, but we put a hook on the wall of our shower and a strong through the hole on the edge of the Eurobath and hang it up in the shower when not in use. Tubby Time! Baby & Infant Bathtubs |

Why are my surfboards in the garage and not the house? They are a hassle to get in and out of house doors, they are wet and sandy when you finish surfing, the light in a house yellows boards, and the wax can melt if it is in the sun. I was pretty happy when I moved into a place where my boards didn't have to live in my living room.

Not to be a killjoy, but these pallet project are my absolute nemesis. I could not imagine bringing one into my house, let alone burning one like we used to in bonfires. Very toxic chemicals are used to treat the wood in pallets. Pallets are meant to be exposed to all variety of elements and cross state lines in shipping and therefore need to be treated to prevent deterioation or infestation. They are not intended to be used in homes. Wood treatment facilities play a substantial part in groundwater contamination (http://www.mercedsunstar.com/2010/03/25/1361870/beachwood-neighborhood-health.html) and arguably cause a variety of health problems. I think of this issue whenever I see repurposed pallats as furniture, especially in kid's rooms. Yeah, it's recycled (upcycled?), but I'm horrified by the thought of the the chemicals used to treat the wood! Yikes! Which Is Better: A Recycled Material or a Natural Material? Good Question |

Seriously, I think the Petzl headlamp is the best gift ever. My husband uses his literally every day. Not only for when he takes the dogs out at night, but for working on any project around the house that involves a small or enclosed space. Not to mention all the use we get from camping. Buy one for everyone you know. Easiest, best gift. 10 Gifts for the Home Renovator 2010 Green Gift Guide |

Impressive! I love that the color and whimsy do not overpower. The home still feels warm and homey and inviting and grounded. Without being boring at all! I absolutely adore my le creuset, kitchenaid stand mixer and lodge cast iron skillet. My husband and I were just commenting on how the le creuset and cast iron skillet were really the only pots/pans we used, except for a random pot to boil water. Funny also that my grandmother just yesterday showed me a beautiful heavily glazed stoneware salad bowl that she got for her wedding 54 years ago and told me she is willing it to me!
