I'm with Indy Jeffrey - learn to cook, learn to artfully arrange your food and the dish it's set on will act in the same manner as a pedestal to sculpture, nothing more than a foundation to rest upon.

In the time it took to draw those circles and waste the energy to bake them on, a delectable, beautiful meal could have been created.

Tacky, wrong and in poor taste. I'd use bad language at the moment, but keeping this family oriented may I just say, if you make life decisions that you wish to celebrate with friends, throw a party, graciously invite said friends over and expect nothing in return but the warmth of their friendship. That goes for ALL your life decisions, weddings, births, graduations, anniversaries, housewarmings etc.

Designers for millions of years have been putting together circles, rectangles and squares without the world coming to an end. Don't think too much and just do it.

West Elm carries one in wood called the Spine Wood Bookcase; CB2 carries one in powdercoated metal called the Array Bookcase. Take your pick :)

This is a nice idea, but a poorly executed one.
The canvas shown here is just too large and doesn't elicit any other reaction than a yawn.

Yes - remember "e" for envelope and you will never question the spelling of stationery again. It's only when you're on a bike that can't move that it's stationary. :)
