I got my son a plastic play house, we got it on craigslist about 3 months ago and I am spraying it, so it's a bit more boyish.. I would love a wooden house for him but I know he will only really play in it for acouple of years. I would much prefer to put that money to something else that he can enjoy for longer or buy him a really nice bit of furniture etc etc

I found a ton of old red bricks free on Craigslist and put them under there. Then went to lowes and got the smallest bag of sand I could find to sweep inbetween the cracks. It worked really well, my dog lays under there to lay on something cool and we put a storage box there for the kids toys. I might try the fabric around it, what a great idea

I like it and I could see it being stress free until you notice little marks on all that white.

I really like it simple and clutter free, we lived in Germany (renting) and our apartment was the same no painting over the white. It really made you sit down and think about what to place where instead of relying on painted walls.

I just tried this on a eye shadow stain (thanx to my 2 yr old) and it didn't work. Any other suggestions on how to get eye shadow out of carpet would be very helpful.

I am a major Lego fan and have a huge amount from my childhood, I keep them in big fishing tackle boxes, then you can put people in one compartment, trees in another etc etc. Can't wait for my 2 year old to get old enough to play with Lego.

He will become a lego fan if it kills me!

we had a corner unit built it really wasn't that expensive and I use it for the kids cooking tools.

Love the Rhino, but way to expencive if you got it from the Adler shop at a huge $1250.00.. they say it comes from England. I found it at Liberty.co.uk which is a great shop for $738! little bit of a difference.

I do the painters tape around the house for my 2 year old, he loves it. Keeps him happy for hours with cars, trains, running on it. Great fun.

I think this is great idea and would be pretty easy to make yourself. There is a great website www.spoonflower.com that will make your own fabric, i.e you design it and they will make it and it really isn't that expensive. I have used them before and found them to be great.
