On the one hand, that's kind of cool... but who really cares how tall it is when the only views you have are South Brooklyn and dirty Jers? I'd take a shorter ride for views of Parliament and the Singapore bay any day!

They have this at World Market right now, too, if anyone sees this and is aching to have one without all of the work. Probably a lot less expensive than Restoration Hardware!

I dunno... I really get the sense that this collection is trying WAAAAYYY to hard to be trendy and cool.

I would just LOVE LOVE LOVE to have that fourth photo in my house. Our 190lb mastiff is as beloved as a kid would be, but I sure do hate the trail of slobber he leaves on our kitchen floor after a hearty drinking session. A tiled floor in his own little mud room would be wonderful (I'd also like that walk in shower as an easier way to give him a bath than spraying him down with the hose)

I rarely even care about a kid's room, let alone want to comment on it, but this is over the top wonderful! I love it's quirky sweetness.

I found that I had wayyyyyyy more vintage scarves than I'll ever use, so I picked out all of my favorites of the ones I wasn't wearing in our bedroom's peacock tones, and sewed them into a quilt-like curtain. I love this because it means I can enjoy them every day: Our master bedroom on Flickr

I'm jumping on the commenter bandwagon - "Just say NO to bottled water!" (unless you're having an emergency). Seriously - one of my favorite things I own is a 16 ounce glass bottle that says "Tap is Terrific" in a lovely script font. If you don't want to fill it up and/or wash it every day, buy 7 and stock your fridge every Sunday night.

We can get so many personalized, beautiful "permanent' water bottles these days, which mean never having to order or lug bottles again, why don't people just do that?

@Jess13 - Why would it ever be a "big mistake" to think the best of someone and give people the benefit of the doubt unless they prove you wrong?

I thought the photo was the before-stodgy-guy, and we were going to get a revamped awesome one after the jump. But we didn't.

Of course, it might translate much better in real life, who knows.

Wait! Don't toss all of those old beauty products - remember that when you have old and/or broken eye shadows, blushes, etc, you can mix the pigments with clear nail polish for custom colors. I do it all the time, and it gives you wonderful variety in color and also, it's (sort of) recycling.

It might be a fun winter-time craft with a little kid, but I don't really like this. It looks like craft for craft's sake, not for beauty's sake.

I prefer pine cones with lovely, neon-painted tips... but I'm biased, since I collect naturey bits like pine cones and sticks, and then paint them neon. It's oh-so-summery!

@Sam26785, not wanting to read about porn on your favorite home design blog doesn't mean you are a prude who doesn't know what porn is. It just means you don't want to read about porn when you came to read about design.

Many of these so-called prudish readers are just calling this out for being exactly what it is - a post designed to garner more hits for the site from search queries aimed at something else. Otherwise, AT would have removed the post by now, after 340+ readers said they didn't approve.

As for me, I don't really care. I don't want tons of articles about sex, but the comments are entertaining enough to make up for the poor choice in subject matter.

We have a buffet/side board that was rescued from a house fire, and the front of it is beautifully buckled! I couldn't imagine it looking any more beautiful than it does "ruined" by the fire :)

I think it would be awesome to curate some photos for pillows, but I don't have enough disposable income to justify a $100 pillow. I'd definitely consider a DIY option though! I really like the idea of using images that flow with and emphasize your decor.
