My favorite vacation spot depends on my mood. I love Morro Bay for the quiet, relaxing, get-out-of-the-race feel. The shops are delightful and the locals are so friendly. But I love Santa Barbara (which is only minutes from my hometown) for a weekend away to shop or visit their beautiful zoo and mission.
