Hey Parne, i really like your system and the match. You know the way to entertain yourself, spending some money not just to buy gear and power it on.
Speakers and amplifiers need one thing and that is space. How your speakers and sub sound like? No boom effect at all? All speakers need minimum 10 cm space on each direction. That's how you ensure that the sound will be perfect and avoid noises from the shelves and the decoration stuff on them.

Well, the TV in the kitchen is totally wrong! It's too high for a sitting person to watch without a pain in his neck. Also there are some humidity issues here, because of the steam that comes from boiling water or e.g. rinsing spaghetti in the sink right under the TV.

maple is right.
A real home theater needs lots of measurements before press the play button.
The ideal set up is based on the hardware specifications and of course the size and the lay out of the room.
You have to spend many hours or days on calibrating, hidding wires, find the perfect spot for the subwoofer, even the lighting of the place needs our attention.
On the picture with the Boss speakers, their set up is soooo wrong....!
