the philips sunrise light is fantastic. I own it, it turns on gradually over 30mins then at the end the alarm goes off. It usually wakes me up without the noise- just the light. Its wonderful.

Ikea delivery is $79 for as much as you want, so I just plan ahead, get everything I need and have a neighbor do the same. We split the cost and they delivered 24 hours later. Worth it.

OR Zipcar pickup trucks, after 6pm is only $30 for the overnight (6pm-8am). Go then. Easy peasy.

As a sufferer of Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome, (body does not produce melatonin until 4am) Flux was recommended by my doctors. Its amazing.

computer light is like the sun- sitting so close to the computer makes your body not produce melatonin at the right times- making you stay up later. You need to block out blue light.

(This also goes for bright lights and florescent lights late at night.)

In Europe most adult couples have two comforters on the bed (twin sized) with a quilt on top. Makes sharing the blankets a non issue....a baby step in the right direction?

But as someone who also has a sleep disorder- a good night of sleep makes me a happier person then anything else- so I think the people that love me would rather me sleep then sleep next to him.

Im on my four places since August 2010- you know who your great friends are when they move you that many times, but a responsive landlord is worth its weight in gold. At the last place, our dinning room flooded with 7" water and our landlord did not get back to us for 2 weeks......

Please- NEVER feed your cat out of a plastic bowl, fountain, or container. The Drinkwell is plastic, horrible to clean and breeds bacteria.
