We had a 6ft tall Paper Lamp in the Living Room. My cat Giovanni launched himself off the sofa and then in true Pirate style shredded the thing from the top down.

I suggest you Decoupage the poster to a canvas and then wrap the canvas around a frame. Cheap and Preserves the poster.

I am with bepsf, make your own platform with book shelves turned on their side or my husband used two pieces of plywood and 9 large casters and put them in from the edge about two inches from the sides. I love it!!!
