Well I live in a 300 square foot apartment currently and don't find it to be terribly small. I have enough room for a queen bed, dresser nightstand and floor mirror in my bedroom, a small couch, desk and bookshelf in my livingroom, and a table that seats four in my kitchen. What I'm saying is that you probably don't need a lofted bed to maximize space as long as you don't have an excessive about of possessions. However I am a fan of the look of lofted beds and say go for it if you can find a nice one and have the ceiling height.

You could try raw food websites. People who eat raw use dehydrators as their ovens. There's a plethora of really creative dehydrator recipes out there. One of my favorite sites is www.rawmazing.com/. The recipes are very straightforward and the photography is great.

I want to know how to make melt in your mouth tofu. Not extra firm tofu. Anyone have any tips?

I'm in the earplugs eye mask club. Cheep and highly efficient. And no altering of the space which will not retain the character I'm assuming you choose it for after you cover all the openings and staple egg crate to the walls.

What's with all you people? This place is beautiful. Why does everyone think you need a ton of stuff? It's such a wasteful, consumptive attitude! And people tend to forget that space is a very important element especially in a studio.
