I Love the bedroom and nursery!

Can I ask, we've been looking for a good baldaquin bed, and I saw that IKEA one but when you kinda shook the poles, it was super wobbly...
Is yours like that? Or was the display model put together badly? or did you fix it perhaps??

Food markets are never far away, they're spotted all over paris. They'll be one local near your hotel so just ask the concierge.

As for eating,
2 restos I go to regularly are
Chez Prosper
Ave du trone, Metro Nation, line 1,2,6
Best brasserie in Paris 10-15€ main meal
You have GOT to try the nutella tiramasu if you go there

L'inedit cafe
4 Rue taine
metro dugommier or daumensil
9€ the plate great french food

Have fun!

Not sure about the pied-à-terre part, but i have plenty of friends here who have had leases for less than a year. There are also plenty of agencies that deal specially in short term rentals.. Lodgis, parisattitude etc
So I don't really see how they can be 'cracking down'
Anyway, with sites like craigslist, its just as easy to rent off the books, not that its necessary.

I like it too, but i hate people who wear 'i love paris' t shirts in paris, so this in my appartment would say kind of the same thing lol

they sell it here and i loved it too, but one test drive of the cupboard doors (which kind of roll up into the unit) was enough to deter me.. They get stuck and doesn't feel like good quality at all.. kind of like the kullen drawers...

I love the look of the chairs in the pic!

No not vandals. Homeless.
The seats/benches already in the metro are taken up by the homeless sleeping on them, I havent yet seen these myself, but I imagine they have already been "claimed"
Though it is a fun idea, not at all practical.
