Kind of on the same wavelength as vizslavr- I like to splash a little bit of hot pepper juice in the pan at the finish when I'm cooking chicken- sucks the juice right up and makes an amazing quick pan sauce!

I chop up a couple and put them in marinara sauce as well.

Good thing they'll keep for a long time!

I had a really great summer vegetarian meal once where the host had zucchini boats filled with polenta and parmesan....it was so good! This makes me want to do it myself. Bet you'll get a couple great meals outta that big boy!

A small brewery in my hometown made a green chile ale and they served it with a small glass of tomato juice- surprisingly refreshing!

I've had a smoked porter before that was too much for me, but others rave about.

well, I'm eating dinner now after getting out of class....started cooking at 10pm.

cooked spaghetti, drained and back in the pot. Added a beaten egg, some garlic, hoisin, siracha and soy sauce.

10:16pm=Happy belly.

ooh- good topic. I love falafel, this is making me think about it differently!

I bet it would be good baked in a red pepper half...or maybe in a cored out apple? Savory and sweet...

Different types of sandwiches, like as a sub for bacon in a BLT or a club sandwich....or along with cheese, peppers and onions for a falafelphilly....

This is kinda out there but I wonder if you could press it into the bottom of a tart pan/pie pan to use it as the crust for a quiche! It'd definitely be flavorful!

I do a thai turkey burger that me and the bf love!

Kinda reminiscent of bahn mi. Red curry sauce instead of mayo, grated carrot, ginger, garlic and cilantro in with the ground turkey, and some extra cilantro up on top. I'll do some quick hot pickled carrot ribbons if I'm feeling energetic, but they're fine without too.

@cmcinnyc-"the hemingway cure"- Love it!

For colds we got consomme and little else- mum was of the starve a cold feed a fever school.

Tummy troubles got flat ginger ale and saltines. My dad however, swore by PIZZA of all things. Seems like the last thing you'd want when you're nauseous but he claimed it always worked wonders!

My brother and mother have been drinking distilled water for years.....they're fine. The majority of people will get enough minerals from their diet without issue.

I'm sure freezing and reusing would work well, at least a couple times. Perhaps the trick of putting the water in gallong ziplocks and letting them freeze flat would free up space issues in the freezer.
