Reminds me of something we used to make called PJ. Fill a cooler with fresh fruit like orange slices, cherries, watermelon, etc and then add pure grain alcohol or your favorite vodka. Let it sit for a day and serve over ice. This S#!T will get you so wasted it should be illegal.

I have not tired it but I might just do that this weekend. I like the perceived convenience of it but I am not sold that it will taste like charcoal. If using a smoker plate could do that, every gas grill would have one. It should however make tailgating and boat grilling easier. We shall see.

I have all these but the bench scraper. I have thought about getting one but I am just not sure if I will use it. Perhaps if I baked more? I was raised on cast iron. I have a set for the kitchen and a set to take camping. The small one is exclusive for cornbread cakes.

I love smoothies and make them every week. The whole point though is to have it thicker than juice and I do that by using frozen fruit. I don't use any ice so it is never watered down. If you use small frozen berries and then mix with some larger room temp fruit like a banana or jarred peaches it turns out perfect. I do however agree with Alton that putting in the liquid is much easier on the blender.

my perfect recipe: 1/2 cup juice, 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt, 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries, 1/2 cup of whatever fresh or canned fruit I have on hand.
