When i was a kid we put our teeth in a glass of water and over the next few days we would see it magically turning silver and transforming into a dollar.

What we didn't know was that our parents would wrap little pieces of aluminum foil around the tooth so that it looked like the tooth was turning silver.
Love their creativity!

Hope to pass on this tradition with my baby boy, but first he needs some teeth ;).

When I first saw this post I thought it was a party for a boy named Barker (because of the photo of the barkerY bunting). I was like, 'What? Are people naming their kids after animal noises now?' LOL!

oops, guilty of all five of them! Except that the stripes on my sons wall are robins egg blue and white and in a chevron motif... (yep an other trend) But I promise that it looks absolutely cute!

I love the cookbook 'What to cook and how to cook it' from Jane Hornby.
The recipes are easy to follow, no strange ingredients, delicious and every recipe I've tried has turned out perfectly!

By the way, adorable baby! Reminds me of my little guy!

ALISF and greenwoodgal- wow, judgemental much?? I've always shared a room when I was a kid, and I LOVED it! Whispering at night, 'borrowing' each others clothes, and yes, an occasional fight, but we survived! And by the way, I think it's a good thing for kids to learn to share!
