Looks like a lot of love and thought went into this sweet room.
For me, personally, it's a bit too bland, I'm missing the colors!
Some bright pink and coral would look so nice here!

I made this as a Christmas dessert, I wanted to keep to our theme and make something Middle Eastern inspired.
I left out 1/4 tsp vanilla and subbed it with 1/4 tsp of rose water. I topped it with raspberries and pomegranate seeds. The rose flavor and the pomegranate worked so well together! I imagine a sprinkling of mint leaves over the fruit would be great too!

I always use a tbsp of custard powder, it works as a thickener and also gives a nice sweet flavor to your filling!

I did the same with some left over Boeuf Bourgignon, equally delicious!

Our own. We were poor students with a tiny budget and it was mainly a DIY wedding.
And that was before Pinterest, so we really used our own creativity, and it was beautiful!

My mom made my dress, my husbands grandma did the flowers, we held the reception in my parents big back yard, we had an informal barbecue. My musician brother and his wife did the music. It was a beautiful and layed back wedding filled with love and friends and family.
I wouldn't change a thing, even if we had all the money in the world!

I have his 'Veg' cook book, and just yesterday made the green asparagus pizza.
So good!
'Veg' has really helped me with meal ideas that don't revolve around meat, but are just as delicious and satisfying!

When i was a kid we put our teeth in a glass of water and over the next few days we would see it magically turning silver and transforming into a dollar.

What we didn't know was that our parents would wrap little pieces of aluminum foil around the tooth so that it looked like the tooth was turning silver.
Love their creativity!

Hope to pass on this tradition with my baby boy, but first he needs some teeth ;).
