We have lots of dif. types of lettuce, and unless you only eat salad for every meal, this is plenty trust me.Besides it makes no waste in our home when it comes to throwing out wilted lettuce or spinach.

Great post, nice blog!

I love to gutter garden, it is so good for keeping away the small animals that want to eat all the good greens...and requires less soil.

I am moving, dreading it, and also welcoming it. I want to simply close the door to my house and just move into my townhouse which is about 2/3 the size I have now. And just find new things to re-purpose and fill the place with. I hate packing and unpacking!! ARGH!

Perfect opportunity to downsize and decorate!

Swap houses? with whom? a bit far fetched for me to grasp...

Cambria/readers, can you help? Because you guys find some cool things, I wondered if you could help me. I recently obtained some really cool retro looking chairs and I need some help identifying them...

Please look at them and let me know if you can identify the style.

Thanks in advance!

PS if nothing else, I would find the milk jug in the toilet idea they posted here a few weeks ago, and install them in every toilet, to save you some dollars on the water bill if you pay it...

akbuilt, would it save you money?

If you can't put it in the rules, you can always offer incentives to home owners, according to their electric bill each month...what incentives, well you think of some...

Ok, I had to chime in, If you put it on a zit before bedtime, it will only last one or two days vs, four. if you catch it early enough it will not even come out.

Trust me. It sounds oily, but my 19 year old loves me for telling him, he went through High school unscathed, by acne breakouts.

I thought the upside down planter was a farce at best. I planted my tomatoes(made in a homemade plastic container upside down) next to my neighbors upside down topsy turvy planter, I got tomatoes and she didn't...lol

Sweet lord y'all are calling them out! ruh roh raggy...

The only good thing about living in AZ, I got to choose how I wanted to pay for my electricity. You could choose a monthly bill or pay by debit account, which meant you bought minutes like a phone card. I initially did not have a refrigerator and being frugal(waiting for it to go on sale), i used an ice chest for the first month aft i bought my house (yup). After I bought the fridge the price for electricity shot up. It was not my AC, dishwasher, TV, stereo, or garage door. After that fridge i wanted to unplug that thing daily....

$112/yd? Seriously?

I really try to advocate eco-friendly everything, but this is ridiculous. I have similar fabrics for sale for $10/yd. They are remainders from big projects over the US making then eco friendly both to the environment and your wallet.

Think about it, are we supposed to go broke trying to sustain the environment? I won't.

$112/yd? ridiculous!

Hi my name is Kindle and I also am a clutter queen...lol

Well Abbs, at least you have a reason for not putting your clothes up. I just strip when I get home from work, bra on the couch, shoes by the door, clothes on room chair or floor. ...

In an effort to declutter, I am giving them all away and buying new, that oughta fix things...lol

this is also a good way for people to make some extra income with starter plants for the season. They can be transplanted into any garden or even a container. The bottles get another use and folks can grow whatever they want.

I love it and am going to blog it!
