Personally I like pink, I embrace the pink. I just don't like plastic Barbie pink. Since you asked her, I'd go ahead with the pink. (though personally I like it wood toned and would have just sealed it)
How about a pink colored stain and then then sealant?

It makes me wonder if the designer of this item has kids.

They work perfectly, don't draw undo attention to themselves and you don't have to worry about someone forgetting to put the cover back on after they're done or worry about the baby unplugging the lamp and then trying to plug it back in again.

I have a real soft spot for play kitchens and toy food. We probably have more fake food in the house than we have actual food in the pantry. The Plan Toys foods are really nice. They have the best feel to them and have held up the best out of all of the things we have.

If you're kids like tiny than Haba is nice. We have the Haba wooden tea bags and sugar cubes (we have lots of tea parties around here, both real and pretend) and those are definite favorites.

The quality on M&D varies depending on the set. We've had the sushi for years and it's held up really well. The velcro cutting foods and pantry items have not.

We have a navy pram from Pottery Barn too. They usually only stock the navy one at Christmas though, the rest of the year they only have a pink one.

Wow! It's nice that you bring your two year old to the bathroom with you, I do too. Sometimes (say every 28 days or so), I'd rather not and having something to distract her (yes even if that something involves a screen) is handy.
"Sanctimomminess" aside, this game requires that you be near your computer? That certainly removes a lot of the appeal for me. Why not just use the computer?

I loved the Liberty of London stuff last year, but I didn't even bother to go to Target for Missoni. I looked at the lookbook online and none of it really appealed to me. I saw those rompers on the sale rack at the store yesterday and yeah they are HUGE. The 6-12 month size would have easily fit my 2 year old.

I second the recommendation for the planetbox. We went through a lot of different lunchboxes before we found that one. It's very easy for a young child to open and close on their own and there are no lids to get lost.

We had a Goodbyn but my 5 year old had trouble getting the lid to seal back on tightly and we had a laptop lunch box and he had trouble getting the tops off that one.
