I don't think they do much for your kitchen.
I second a small square glass tile. Maybe a mix of grey and white, or just white?

@dwsmith1000 - I would love to know more about how you set up your pond. I would give it a try. Just a pond with no filters or pumps? And What type of fish and what plants did you use?

I was so inspired by the market that was listed awhile ago (mentioned above) that I am in the process of making a play market to go with the play kitchen I just finished building.

The article quotes the rug to be from IKEA. I think it is this one. Pretty inexpensive at $179.

Hope this helps.

We have two large built-in bookcases that flank the fireplace in our den, and we have lots of books there. The two bottom shelves are our kid books, mainly ones that have paper pages and books that are to be read together.

We have a seperate playroom but it is mainly just toys in there, occasionally a few books sneak in there though.

In my sons room (21 months old), he has a small bookcase and keeps all his books (kid safe ones like board books, etc) that he reads in his chair or on his bed. Also where we keep his nighttime story books.
