Nearly empty peanut butter jars are my beagle's very favorite toy. My friends save them for us! Her tongue is just *this* much too short to get the very bottom, so she'll work on them for hours!

I'd vote for anything involving coffee, espresso or mocha flavor, were it an option. :)

Today? Trader Joe's cinnamon raisin bagel and cream cheese.

Sometimes cold cereal, steel cut oats when it's cold outside.

A dream come true.

Our new house, too, has a ceiling fan in every room, except the living room where there is no central fixture at all. I'm DYING to replace a few of them. Our ceilings aren't high and the house is small-ish so I'm not worried about them helping with energy costs. The ones in the bedrooms don't bother me as much as the one above the dining table and in the kitchen.

Buffalo Chicken Dip! (with silken tofu substituted for some/all of the cream cheese if you don't want all the fat and poached chicken instead of canned chicken)

Also, the foil wrapped feta posted on here a while back is quickly becoming my 'signature' potluck item!

Can I request a post about kitchen lighting that doesn't go over an island? Like a semi-flush mount? I am DYING to replace the ugly white ceiling fan in our new (small) kitchen and have found ZERO inspiration! Most of what I see is pendants over islands and that won't work for me and my 6' husband!

greek yogurt, cumin, lemon juice, hot sauce, evoo, garlic. YUM.

with butter bells, you have to be really careful not to get crumbs or food (toast, etc) in the butter. This guarantees mold. Also, I always shake a teaspoon or so of salt into the water. It supposedly helps kill any creepy crawlies that might want to grow in there. :)
