I would be the best reviewer for the Xbox 360 for two reasons: I have experience with video game reviewing and I appreciate the costs – financial and otherwise – a game system like the 360 can have on an apartment owner.

I previously was a writer for a (now defunct) small circulation videogame review organization. I was in a group of friends that didn’t have constant enough contact for word-of-mouth recommendations, and so we passed along information about various videogames through reviews. By writing these reviews I became aware of and corrected a lot of “rookie mistakes” specific to videogame and technology reviews. It’s easy to be wowed by shiny graphics or a new feature, but I learned to look at long-term features like replay value and accessibility.

An Xbox 360 is a big purchase for a lot of small apartment owners. Plus, as a man who likes a “minimalist” design, I’m wary of anything that will clutter up an entertainment area. I’ll look not only at the value of the system relative to its price, but relative to its overall “fit” in an entertainment setup as well.
