It looks precisely the same as before with different colors and better appliances. The green backsplash is a complete miss to me. I think the band of green going around the room makes it feel any bigger at all.

I painted Gray Owl in my bedroom and it doesn't look minty at all. It does have a slight green undertone - but gray is all about light. Depending on the light in your room and the other colors you put in the room, the same gray will look so different in different spaces. I say just fork over the $5 for the test pot of paint. It's worth it to really SEE your color in the actual space.

I'm with Sabrina on this one. Are you sure there isn't a couch you couldn't adopt for a few weeks before getting your own (or more) space?

Whatever happened to having swings in the backyard or at the playground? Why is it cool to have something that so obviously doesn't belong in a house actually in your house? And are those cardboard chaise lounges in that pic? Seriously, who lives there?

Bravo on the stripping the paint - it is a lot of work! I can't help but prefer the before though - it's brighter. Like others have said, in need of a better paint job and less obnoxious knobs.

What is up with this picture?

I guess in some time when vision impairment becomes a growing ailment, we as a society will scale back.

Why?

I love this! I want this for my own room!
