it's pretty easy to open blister packs with a simple flat razor, xacto, or utility blade... the secret is not to try and cut through the tough heat sealed seam, but instead to cut just inside of it (on the flat surface). so for a typical rectangular package you'd just cut along the inside edge all the way around (4 straight cuts) and then lift the entire side off. can anyone recomend a good building management company that works in Williamsburg/Brooklyn and services condos/condo boards? The building is 8 units. The management company we currently have just isn't doing it's job, and we're tired of trying to get simple things around the building done in a timely manner. Any leads would be appreciated! Thanks! tripped over a usb extension cord that was connected to the front panel of my computer... practically tore out the entire port. surprisingly though the only damage done was to the one usb port, the rest survived... though it didn't look that way haha. i guess i consider myself pretty lucky. worst mess - was probably when i was emptying out my current vacuum (one of those shark stick vacs) and dropped the dust container right in front of the trash can... you can guess what happened... dust and crap everywhere floating in the air all over. in an attempt to clean it up i put the dust container back in the vac and sucked up as much as i could, but all the little floaty bits were lost in the air... How about wooden shutters made to the size/shape of the glass? They could be mounted inside the inset our flush with the wall. It would maintain the beautiful shape of the windows and provide light/privacy control as well as help with the noise.
