lisapizza, I hate to break it to you, but your favorite room lost 250 votes overnight. What does that suggest? Unfortunately people cheat and will continue to cheat; it's probably happened in every AT contest they've ever had.

This is incredible, and I thought my house had good woodwork! Would love to see the rest of your gorgeous home.

@alahoop, yes this room was in the Room for Color in 2010. Well spotted. It's changed a bit since then though. I had to replace the duvet cover which I loved because it was developing holes. They didn't make that duvet anymore so I was really sad, but I found 2 different duvets, both from DwellStudio. I also got a new bed, changed out the side tables and moved the dresser and chair. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. @catspyjamas510 behind the curtains is my husbands teeny tiny closet that is infront of the stairwell. The curtains also help to hide some awkard ceiling angles.

Amit, I love your response to the controversy surrounding the competition. It was both honest and gracious. Yours wasn't the room that was committing the voter fraud. Apartment Therapy was notified a week ago that this was going on.. Unfortunately, despite their assurances to the contrary, they didn't do anything about it til today. You can't really tell from the final result who committed the fraud, but if you were following the results you would have seen the votes being taken off one of the entries. This comment will probably be removed so I hope you have a chance to read it.

By the way, yours was definitely the best room out of the final four and I voted for you. So sorry you didn't win.

I've noticed that no one has bothered to make any comments on any of the entries for over 6 hours. Even after the finalist was announced. Maybe AT will get the hints and actually do something about changing the competition to be more merit based.
