I wish I had seen this earlier, I just spent part of my morning peeling garlic to roast-Gah!

Made some last night!

Saute onions then make bechamel, using whatever mix of cheeses I have in the house, but always with a cheddar or colby jack. My favorites always have gruyere in it, I think it gives it such a nice flavor. Par-cook noodles, add to sauce to finish cooking. Yum!

I'll check it out. I am so sick of Bobby Flay, and a close second is Guy Fieri.

A sidenote on Dwell bedding, I would definitely do a feel test for their products. I purchased their awesome Owl crib bedding, and the sheets are scratchy and rough :( We will be using the blanket but replacing the sheets for something a little softer. Love their designs though!

Yeah, bath toys have never been one of my top priorities for purchasing. I grew up loving baths and always had a ball simply with the bubbles and water. For our own daughter we ditched the toy duck we had in the first 6 months of her life due to the PVC in it, but we do have a couple books and a set of plastic musical instruments that were gifts. Sometimes I feel like caving in and purchasing more bath toys, especially after visiting friends' homes where the bathrooms are little toy wonderlands-I will now be viewing those a little differently.

Yay for owls! We are having our second child, this time a boy, and he will be sharing a room with big sister, owls are the "theme". We have so far purchased the Dwell Owl bedding, and that is as far as I have gotten, thank you for the inspiration!

I love pasta, but would love a tasty substitute that is lighter and a bit more nutritious than spaghetti. It's funny this should be posted I just noticed a recipe for this substitution in my Better Homes & Garden cookbook circa 1992 last weekend, thought it looked interesting and thought of trying it!
