This is a very warm feeling room. it feels comfortable, as it should. As for color, I feel it needs a bump in contrast. It all seems to sit around the same level for me with the tones/values of the colors. I would probably try to add some dark tones, like a dark brown dresser, and/or frames. Just a little something to add more of a pop. I think the dark brown bookshelf is a good start. Apartment Therapy - Nursery Colors Finalist Entry #5: Libby's Orange and Lime Nursery |

this room looks nice. it's a bit dark for my taste; the brown feels a bit weighted, which is a little hard to offset. the white is such a strong contrast, that it seems a bit too harsh, but the greens and oranges do a decent job of correcting this. I wish there was something in a cool color pallette. might do just the trick. i also, wish there were a few more photos of the room from the other perspective. overall, its good, but could use a little finessing Apartment Therapy - Nursery Colors Finalist #3: Sam's Chocolate Crash Pad |

I have to say that the comments that are calling this an average color scheme, or "ho-hum" are quite mistaken. They are obviously only commenting to try and help themselves or another friend win. This room is quite obviously not just "baby blue with white trim". There are a million bright beautiful colors used in a tasteful way. This is very bright and poppy. Great uses of greens and browns throughout. Hot pinks. It reminds me of pop art. Apartment Therapy - Nursery Colors Finalist Entry #2: Baby O's Ode to Color |
