Just thought you should know that photo on the left is of Alicia Paulson's hallway. www.aliciapaulson.com I think you should probably credit it properly, as I believe she is particular she is about her photographs being used without permission. I agree! The previous owner of our 1950s ranch was an avid rose collector. We have over 50 bushes in our front yard, many of them antique varieties no longer available. Our second dog did the same thing. He was inconsolable. The only thing that worked was to cover the crate with an open weave blanket (open enough that air could circulate, but still difficult for him to see out of). We would also rest a pillow against the front door/gate. Again, same thing. The pillow was angled in such a way that he couldn't see us, but plenty of air was going in and out. Once it was nice and dark and cozy he would fall right to sleep. He still would cry a bit, but no more than a few minutes. After a while, the blanket and pillow weren't necessary and he associated crating with nap/quiet time. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles \| LA Good Questions: Help! Thank you! Riverside is not the armpit people assume that it is! I am happy to live here, and just about fell off my chair when you showed this picture. It's where we signed our loan docs for our AWESOME mid-century ranch. Thanks so much for the tip on the websites. My husband and I are thrilled!
