1. use it in pasta recipes in the place of pancetta/guanciale like carbonara or amatriciana.

you can also perfectly cook a lot of bacon in the oven. line a baking sheet win aluminum foil, place bacon on it, and bake for 15-17 min at 375 F. you can feed a lot of people with BLTs right now especially since tomatoes are so good and in season.

you can also make a bunch of bacon wrapped asparagus.

+1 on the lack of artificial dyes

We were turned onto it by the Holeman & Finch Bottleshop in Atlanta (owned and operated by the public house of the same name). Would say that it's in between Campari and Aperol on the bitterness scale, which helps make a negroni more approachable to some of our friends who think Campari is too bitter. Unfortunately, in my experience Cappelletti is harder to find.

Not all wine key corkscrews are created equally. The best by far is the Pulltaps style (as shown). The hinge in between the two stages allows for getting enough leverage from the first stage.

There will always be a debate whether or not stovetop espresso is real espresso. However, after living in Italy for a year, I can say that every Italian family has more than a few Bialetti Moka's at their home and it is the most common way that 'coffee' is consumed at home.

If you want a more Italian bar style espresso, try the Bialetti Brikka. It has an additional pressure valve which helps make crema. At about $40 it's still a great deal compared otherwise more expensive espresso makers.
