We do the same :) three boxes: first aid, kids, adults. I use a large makeup bag to house all the nail polishes. All of them live in a small hall cabinet :)

We're doing a christmas puzzle this year. I put four pieces in our calendar at night and the kids are so excited to see what's next.

This is a great idea though! I think I'll start putting out the Christmas books we already own unwrapped next to the calendar in the morning. :)

I love how simple this is. I want to come live with you :D. I have the hardest time keeping things minimalist & cozy. Do you have an additional play space for him? My kids have much too much crap!

my girls have a great large dollhouse, but they most prefer to make pop-up doll houses all over the place, using other furniture as inspiration. i think i may empty out their dollhouse and use it as a library, then throw all their moveable doll items in a basket for easy mobility.

EmilyCH have you tried Bac-Out or Bumgenuis Odor Remover spray? Just spray each diaper when you change your baby/ before you throw it in the diaper pail.

We are expecting a baby and excited to be cloth diapering this time around.. We'll be using Bummis AIO & Softbums.

We've just been planning to do this to our outdoor playhouse - also a craigslist find. Our home depot doesn't carry any fun colors of spray paint for plastic so we haven't started painting yet. I'll send pics when we're done! Good job :D

after collecting sticks, my daughter and i usually draw pretty flowers on paper, cut them out, attach them to the sticks with a little tape or glue, then throw them in a vase. theyre a fun center piece and last for as long as you can stand to look at them :)
