Peg board with those jars that are supposed to hold nails (well washed before use of course.)

Keeps everything vertical and neat for cheap. Plastic might be bad for us, but, well, lots of things are bad for us.

Fresh juice has been working for me. It's a quick surge of sugar for energy and just enough calories that after a half-hour, I can chug through a 45-minute run easily.

This is an apples and robots comparisons.

I love homemade m&c. I make a killer version that is quick and easy and fantastic. But, when I want boxed mac&cheese, homemade is not what I want. Boxed is a nostalgic, comforting taste and texture all it's own.

Amazing.

I added fresh bay leaves (from an unlabeled produce package) by mistake. Still amazing (though perhaps don't use them.)

I also upped the amount of vegetables to 3-4 cups & subbed curry for turmeric. Still amazing.

Filling, cheap, healthy & quick. And totally amazing.

@greenbayou: Thanks so much! It was your comment that motivated me to give this a shot last week too.

Very delicious, though, as the post notes, tough for a weeknight because of the long stretches of time. Also, very little chicken made it to the end dish; it was so good, most of it was gone well before it even cooled off.

Having an iPad in the kitchen is really the only reason I would want one. I can't imagine wall mounts are too far off; once I can get it up near a counter, I'm looking forward to easy-to-read recipes online & a replacement for the TV & radio.
