I would try cutting a piece of foam core so that it fits very tight in the recess of the entire shape of the window...leave it solid if you don't want any light coming through OR cut out the glass sections (just like the windows shape) and glue a rice? paper over it so that the light will come though.

an ounce of hand washing is worth a pound of wet wipes..lol *sorry*

I use inexpensive microfiber towels to wipe my apple screens..that's all they need.

I have made these and smaller bottles work much better. You can see that the wick does not go to the bottom of the bottle...leaving about 4 inches of oil that never gets used..that's a real waste to me..I was not able to find the copper pieces to use in the post (previously) but I found a 1/2"x3/4" coupling in the plumbing dept. at Lowe's that works great...it has a lip around it that sits/rests perfectly onto the top edge of the bottle..just my 2 cents.

truly Creative (non bitter) people look at every post with an objective eye and see the good, the bad and the ugly and appreciate it all...and take away from it whatever works best for them.

like dM above I keeps smelly garbage in the freezer...in addition to that I save all cereal bags, chip bags...etc. and that's what I put my (smelly food) garbage in to go in the freezer..roll it up tight and throw it out once a week..and it you forget, that's ok too.

Is it important to build raised beds for (food) gardening out of non toxic materials??
Like, cedar instead of pressure treated wood that is imbedded with chemicals...just wondering.
