Love this house! It's beautiful. Quick question: Where are the storage bins with the handles from? I see Pottery Barn listed as the source of the baskets. But wondering about the handled ones in particular (white and brown). Thanks! Sarah & Matt's Expertly Styled Home House Tour |

I've been using the same calendar for years. It has tons of room for writing, great graphics, and a bright clean look. It's got such good visual punch and so much room that I bought it every year for my elderly parents, as their sight and handwriting was failing. To find it, go to calendars.com and search for mega grid or monster grid or mammoth grid (depending on the size you want). Here are the links: Cool Wall Calendar with Room For Writing? Hi. Congratulations on your baby!!! And welcome to the older mom's club. I'm one too and didn't have a lot of immediate hand-me-downs. I agree that it's great to wait some to see what you need. (In fact, our baby was so big when he was born that we never used the "newborn" sized clothes we had.) One thing I learned the hard way:Apparently, babies aren't supposed to wear onesies until after their umbilical cord falls off. So, for your going-home outfit, be sure to have a 2-piece option (ie not a onesie). Also, for the first couple of weeks, be sure to have plenty of those side-snapping t-shirts (long sleeved for fall). Our son lived in those. We swear by the Boppy Waterproof changing pad covers. They're oval shaped and go right on top of the changing pad (or changing pad cover, in our case). They come in packs of three. So if one gets soiled, we drop a clean one on and hand wash the dirty one. They have been lifesavers. Here's a link to them: Are Changing Pad Covers Necessary? | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

We have the Bjorn as well and our son has LOVED it. He's a big baby - born almost 10 lbs. He used the seat every day from when he was just home from the hospital til he was about 7.5 months old and crawling around. It's sturdy, bounces nicely, and folds up flat. There's a toy attachment too, tho we never bothered. Good luck! Your Favorite Baby Seat? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

To tikilicious - I agree that a warm wash cloth on the baby's chest is a great trick. So is using a small cup to continually shower the baby in warm water. Our baby seemed to love the Fisher Price Aquarium tub -- with a little hammock. His back side could dangle in the water and his top was kept warm by the wash cloth and streams of water we poured on him. Good luck! Ideas for a Peaceful Bathtime | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |
