Having a door to the bedroom is priceless! We are in a 575 sq. ft. unit on the 25th floor of a highrise in Streeterville, Chicago -- without a bedroom door. I've had to remedy the situation with a curtain wall a la Carrie Bradshaw's apt in SATC but how I miss an actual door (and wall). Great space, love your use of colors!

I like the length of the ball in the first picture and the 1/2 ball pendant in the seventh picture.

i want to live in that bedroom, as it looks before picture 34. Picture 34 shows the wall opposite the bed and I felt that wall was too much. Maybe leave that dresser and the frames on the wall, but bring in those awesome chairs from picture 10 in to flank both sides.

Regardless, I want that room's bench, curtains, roman shades, rug, bed pillows...8-)

Thanks for including a floorplan!! And I thought my 525 sq. ft. place was little. You've made it so cute and kept it neat. I love the "dressing space" idea -- it's like a walk-in closet or boutique changing room with the floor to ceiling curtain.

Love the chairs at the breakfast bar.

Great idea of taking pictures of where you live in your 20s, 30s, etc. Losing Domino was such a bummer -- TG for AT!

Anyway, as for your house tour, I love that you put such creativity and effort into a rental: it looks like "home." Cozy, classic, and yet, still young.

The seating in the living room looks uber comfortable. I'd love to shop in your place and buy that white dresser (1st picture) and the blue lamp (3rd picture). Where'd you get the lamp from? The green headboard in the bedroom photo is also gorgeous.

Charming!! The woodstripping idea was genius. The wallpaper in the dining room is beautiful; what a great contrast with the chandelier's blue tints. The bedroom looks tight, tight, tight (er, cozy?), but that closet will surely make up for it. I, too, am curious to see the sink/vanity in the bathroom.
