tour! tour! tour!

i knew when i saw this that the paint had to be wheat bread from behr. our whole house is that color, and i think it works so beautifully with everything. everyone who asked about the paint color, i can recommend it wholeheartedly. for another example of it, i'm pretty sure that nicole from making it lovely has used it in her kids' nursery and it's transitioned so well from a pink little girl's room to a boy's room. i really can't say enough about this color.

also, this nursery is absolutely beautiful. i might have missed it, but i can't believe no one has commented on how wonderful the art is. shel silverstein, right?

indeed, bringing back full rss feeds would be great. it's so frustrating to just be able to sort through at work what i'd like to actually click on and read in full later.

really glad you guys are going to scale it back. i've been reading since 2005 and it was just getting to be too much. looking forward to the new edits!

i have to echo everyone else's comments. apartment therapy's use of the royal we is just getting out of control and irritating beyond belief. sometimes i have to skip posts just because the poor grammar is too much to take. i think everyone here understands that different people are responsible for the posts, and it's time to let you AT individuals post as individuals!

i had been considering this for my own yard, as it's quite large and we have tons of brush. we have started getting at the pile by burning it in a firepit on chilly evenings and sitting around the fire, but we'd also planned on mulching our yard soon, so your solution is really best for us. how much did it cost to rent and how hard/dangerous was it?

we just ripped those cabinets out of our 55-year old home and relegated them to the basement. *shudder*

we installed the same brand of cork click-panels this summer. ours were a bleached cork so it's nearly-white looking. maybe more in between a light tan and off white. we sealed ours with 7 layers of water-based polyurethane, and unfortunately, our dog has ripped the bejeezus out of the floor. we probably had to start talking about how we'd replace or cover or fix the floor after two months. :( i am unsure if it is the color we chose, as any deep scratching shows brown on the underneath since the cork is only surface-bleached. has anyone else had a disappointing experience with their cork floors? putting it in was fairly easy, but with the wear ours is taking, i wouldn't do it again.

anything that gets served with three handfuls of cheese on top just isn't right. blech. the only thing worth a damn at skyline is the red beans and rice topped with onions, crackers and sour cream.
