Just spend some time on the garden web landscape forums. It's definitely worse.

I have really bad allergies and we got a poodle. I was fine the first week and then super sick after that. What worked for me was a combination of good quality air purifiers in the main rooms, a daily dose of flonase (for the nose), claritin and regular doses of flovent (asthma inhaler).

I have 7 and 4 year old daughters and a 2 year old son. From the beginning we've treated everything as gender neutral, as pretty much everything is. They play with all manner of toys and wear whatever they want. The girls tend towards frilly pink stuff and my son often steals their clothes. My oldest prefers books and computers to toys, the 4 year old prefers dolls, and the youngest will play with anything.

Love the cabinets.

Working in an old yucky kitchen is so depressing. My current one and the one I lived in previously were way worse than the one pictured. Poo brown tile glue on the walls instead of a backsplash, plywood countertops, old stained vinyl flooring. I can't wait to reno. In the meantime, I take notes and pin photos.

This is a huge pet peeve of mine. It is so rude to not rsvp (even a maybe is better than nothing). I don't have a lot of money and I don't want to spend extra on people who have no intention of attending but are too lazy to rsvp.

I used to hold big Halloween bashes and would whittle my list down every year by not inviting those who didn't rsvp the previous year. It seriously drives me mental.

I just had my blue velvet sofa delivered last week. It is so fabulous. I never thought I could love an inanimate object more than I love my sofa.

Unfinished rooms stress me out but most of the time I have to go slow due to finances. I also find it harder to pull a room together when I do it a little at a time.

That would be great in a playroom to snuggle on and read a book. Love Totoro.

My mom was an obsessive redecorator. She'd prioritize home decor over groceries. Who cares if the kids are starving, as long as there's new wallpaper!

Changes were too frequent to really target any specific colour or style. She'd repaint every couple of months whereas I'm just changing my colour scheme out after 10 years of blue and brown.

I love that pirate room.

We did a pirate party for my daughter back in April.

I'm evenly split and it's a struggle. If I was wealthy, I'd have two houses but I'm not so I don't. When I lived in the city I craved the country. Now that I'm in the country I crave the city. I hate being fickle.

Ducks are better. We have muscovy ducks and they do a great job of keeping the lawn cut. They don't make a mess and they aren't trouble makers like goats are.

I planted 1000 strawberry plants this year and I can't wait for the first harvest. The only grocery store fruits I eat are bananas and watermelons. The rest are always hard and tasteless.

We had a room that the designated kid room but the only thing we kept in it was a change table (didn't fit in bathroom). We co-slept and breastfed so nothing else was necessary. We were gifted a crib but never set it up for any of our three kids. It's true, you really do need next to nothing.

Did you add sugar and spices (from a pumpkin pie recipe) to it? I make pie from fresh pumpkins every year and it turns out great.

My husband was the exact same way until we moved to our homestead and started raising and growing our own food. The taste difference between homegrown and the grocery store is huge and now he considers himself a foodie.
