Can You Fold a Fitted Sheet?
Callalillie

I actually learned how to fold my linens like they do at my work (I work at a hotel). Not only can I fold a fitted sheet, but I also save a ton of space by folding everything together in one little package. It's pretty fast and all of my linens are easy to find. No missing pillow cases! Perhaps I should make a tutorial. It's so easy.

Hahaha...love geep78's comment. I was thinking the same thing. And I have to wonder, how the heck does he sleep comfortably in that bed? Is it just me, or does that just seem impossible?

I love little things like that in a house. Several years ago when my mom, my sister, and I moved out of her house (the first she bought on her own after my parents divorce - and her first step at an independence she never had) we left our mark on that sweet little home with an inscription behind the bathroom mirror; "we lived, we laughed, we loved...we hope this house will become a home for you too. love, the girlies". The next house she moved into she found a growth chart. Things like that give a house a soul I think.

It's such a cute place. Neutral doesn't have to mean boring. I think this place has a lot of potential. I agree with Patrick though, I think you'll have to figure out what style you're going for in order to solve your problem.

i can't believe how many of you are reading into THE PLACEMENT OF ACTION FIGURES!!!! seriously. if you have a real problem with violence against women then go make your voices heard on sights that matter instead of acting righteous on a design website!!!

y'all are a bunch of drama queens.

I live in Northern California, so I won't even being to compare cold weather because I know it's nothing compared to what you east coast folk are used to. I haven't used the heater all winter. I think it's easier to stay warm than to stay cool, so I told my roommates to suck it up and put on a sweater and use all those blankets we have. There's no need to use the heater...especially since we're all struggling college students and can't afford the bill anyways. When we were all on break we made scarves and hats for each other and now we just wear those while we're indoors.

I agree, it would look better with 3 windows. There's something playful & sexy about it all at the same time. And so what if someone can see? I mean, if you're taking a bath in the same room as someone you'd prefer not to see your junk, as flamingo8 so elegantly put it, then what the heck are they doing in your bathroom?!?!?!?!

Anyways, I love it.

Oh. My. Goodness. I can't believe how many uptight people roam this site. I mean, do you really have nothing better to do than gripe about photo choice on a design blog? If you really want to complain about sexism and other bull, then go storm the offices of Abercrombie and Fitch or Holister or something. Your time on your soap box would be better spent for organizations like www.ncadv.org or www.now.org, rather than APARTMENT THERAPY. If you really want to make a difference than I hope you're just as passionate when your write to Carl's Jr and MTV about the advertising and programs they assult you with on a daily basis. I bet you're not b*&%hing on their sites. The only possible way you could be offended by this photo is because you're allowing yourself to be offended.

The topic here is a low bed, and I'm almost certain that the above photo indeed captures a low bed. I prefer a taller bed myself because my apartment doesn't allow for much storage, so it's nice to be able to get a couple of stacked bins under my bed.

By the way, it's really too bad that some women are so against being sexy. At the end of the day, we're a lot more fun to look at then dudes, and is there anything so horrible about being pretty? I love being a girl and for the most part, the only person I'm seductive or sexy for, is me. Everyone else is just collateral damage. Embrace the fact that women can be both seductive and smart. There's nothing wrong with being both.

I've been following this site for a few months now and it seems that not only have the comments become increasingly negative, but also stem from those that deem themselves slightly more elite than the rest of us. I thought the purpose of this site was to be inspiring and fun. Instead, most post find themselves sacraficed by these self declared "design gods". What happened to the community aspect of this site? I think it's contributors are doing an amazing job covering spectacular spaces...regardless of my own personal taste. And let's not forget, the majority of us living on our own don't have the luxuary of being able to buy half of the West Elm catalog due to restrictive landlords and limited budgets.

Offtza...your place is pretty awesome. Period. The end.
