Thanks for the nice feature! What a surprise! Inspired, I posted an update today (http://www.hitherandthither.net/2012/04/mini-crib-update.html) showing how Hudson is fitting in at nine months. We will be in this apartment until he is just over a year and I would have been a bit sad not to partake in any of the joy of creating a nursery, so I'm glad we were able to do something special--though I do wish the Fern Living wallpaper came in a removable option (wallpaper brands for kids...take note!). The crib itself is rated in Europe up to two years but advertised here for up to a year. I think a year (maybe 14 months) is about right. I was able to buy this one used--which I imagine would be easy to do in cities with abundant small apartments.

Those hangers are lovely, but they take up so much space! We got some ultra thin non slip hangers from Bed Bath and Beyond, and it not only made our closets look neater, it actually gave us more space. I key requirement for our New York Apartment!

We went to the Flea on Saturday to check out the new space--it's fantastic! The Williamsburgh Savings Bank is truly a stunning setting. It was pretty crowded and I missed seeing a few of the vendors one finds in warmer months, but I can't imagine a lovelier setting for this great market.
