Subway Tiles have been around for more than 100 years in American Architecture & Design dating back to 1904. They make for a beautiful and cost effective kitchen or bathroom materials choice and the "look" is timeless. Great post AT!

Love how the colors come together with the cabinetry, countertops and the penny tile. For folks who have the DIY skills you are a great example of how much $$$ can be saved by doing much of the work yourself. Nice work!

We had a customer comment once that black grout with white subway tile looks like the tile in an old subway station that hasn't been cleaned in 50 years. It has it's place but most folks seem to choose white grout or a nice, cool grey color grout with their white subway tile.

Love the Beveled Subway tiles vs the standard flat edge. They really add some "depth" to the Kitchen.
