I love making quiche, because other than the crust, it's really simple! I only ever make leek and asparagus quiche, because I love both asparagus and leeks! I've served this to guests many times and it's always a favorite!

Please buy a lot of jars, and the plastic lids that you can purchase for them. It's the most cost effective and esthetic way to store frozen soup! After you warm it in the microwave it will warm your hands. This way you don't have any creepy plastic to warm up :) . I've purchased store bought soup this way too.

I love jars, I get made fun of for the amount I use them. I have to say that the best size is the "decorative" jars. I purchased some from Canadian Tire and I actually use them for everything because they are so inexpensive. I also purchased plastic screw tops for them because they don't rust and they are easy to use and wash. I especially like these because you can have individual size portions of apple sauce, jello, pudding, granita, dips, spreads, condiments and spices. My favorite is apple sauce though. I honestly don't think you can have "too many" jars!

but this is the most useful size for my home :)

I am envious! I live in Edmonton, but I love the mountains so I am thinking I may have to move to Calgary some day to enjoy them more.

I made mustard a couple of weeks ago. I bought DIY Delicious by Vanessa Barrington and tried one of the recipes in there. My family and I really liked it and it was really good in sandwiches. I plan on making my own from now on, it's too simple not to! I liked buying different mustard before but the grocery store only has so many, when you make your own there's no limit really.

I keep them, and after they stack up, I go through and cut out anything I really like and paste it into a book. I have it kind of organized by type of article. That way I don't have to keep all of them.
