Wow, how unique. I've seen diners in train cars but never a home. Beautiful property, good luck selling.

I really like the clean lines and simplicity of modern decor.
You have avoided the cold a sterile look that I see in a lot of modern decor by adding warm colors in your art and accessories.

I like snuggling up in my furniture and modern furniture just doesn't look comfortable to me. Is it comfortable??

Great pictures and beautiful apartment!

Thank you for the tips. I've noticed natural light works better in my photos but the winter gloom can be a problem.

I like how objects in the background fade and become fuzzy.
I will definitely be practicing.

It's a great time to rearrange accessories. I still have our copper painted snowman on the door and a couple snowy topiaries for the month of January. I cut the flowers off the white poinsettias and placed them in vases of water.

This is a great, cheap way to make a large desk with storage. We made a desk for our kid's playroom by using a door and 2 small kitchen cabinets that we bought at Restore, a Habitat for Humanity Store. It was very easy to do and the total cost was only $15.00.
