Yes people did live without A/C but there was less humidity since there was less irrigation. Farmers just relied on the weather most of the time. Now with all the irrigation humidity has become such an evil. I work outside in the midwest and I was dripping sweat by 9:30 this morning, I have already had heat exhaustion this year, so yes I love A/C.

I also agree with donating clothes to other places other than the Salvation Army and Goodwill. I have always donated my clothes and odd sorts to our crisis center and to a homeless shelter. That way my items are probably going to get used right away and those people won't have to pay for the items

@ ruthie144 it looks like the land of nod tents, but you can make them using a tutorial on 2littlehooligans or livingwithpunks both are pretty good.

I guess they may get ideas to play in the river and bolt it out the door? That one is weird I hope someone chimes in on the why for it.
I personally hate open floor plans. I like to that I can close the kitchen door in the summer and not heat up the whole house or get the kids out of my hair when I'm making something on the weekends.

This looks far safer than my little hideout that I created which was the top shelf of a closet that I would climb using a chair to get to the rail and swing myself up to the shelf, I would sleep up there too, my parents actually couldn't find me one morning!

I have to say that I do fall asleep many times like the top two. And thanks for the heads up mrsberg will stay very far away from that film if I come across it, I have been having the worst nightmares this week and haven't slept so I don't need to add to it

flip flops thats a good one! I would throw the entire booster seat in the dishwasher, that think would get so nasty I didn't want to sit there and scrub it endlessly

I've lived in 2 different 1bedroom low 315 high 375 (these were my favorite apts) A 3 bedroom that I shared with my boyfriend and a roommate 600 Then we went to houses a 2 bedroom with a 1 car garage 475 and our current home, a huge old victorian under a lease to own contract at 700 (technically this is rent since if we choose not to buy we loose the money) This is for central Nebraska

you can also freeze french toast, I'm not a huge pancake fan and hate making waffles, so french toast is my favorite. Pop them into the toaster and then I smear some honey and cream cheese or do the pb&j thing to make a sandwich
