I didn't see it suggested yet, but some friends of ours had a similar issue and their solution was to get the gamer in he family a beanbag chair. It worked for them because it was easy to move around and was comfy. Comes to the middle of the room for game time and gets chucked back in the corner when the game gets turned off, plus they have a kid and he loves the damn thing, so it works for them all around.

There are 2 kinds of bloom, fat and sugar.

Fat bloom is fixable, sugar bloom isn't.

If your chocolate was stored in a damp place, then you probably have sugar bloom and you don't really want to eat that chocolate it will be gritty and have an inconsistent flavor, fridges are the worst culprit of this.

If your chocolate was just stored in a warm place it's fat bloom like everyone else was talking about. :)

Haha, one year I got 3 rice cookers(all the exact same model) for Christmas, something that was meant to be useful, but I honestly never used them because they were crap.

It's the thought that counts :)

Oh man that bath looks so wonderful. It makes me long for a bathtub that is deep enough that my boobs don't have to be chilly while the rest of me is submerged. Haha

I used to carry a pocket knife with me at all times, because like grandpa says, you never know when it will come in handy(ditto for a lighter, I've never smoked but I always keep one with me).

But sadly it has become illegal to carry a knife on you in Edmonton, and although I will probably never have a reason for the police to search me, I just never want to have the opportunity arise. Thank goodness we are moving soon :) as much as I love living I the city of homicides, I also love having impromptu picnics in the grass with just a hunk of cheese, meat and bread :). Possibly seem grainy mustard.

I could do this in the summer for sure, but it's so flippin' cold here in the winter, I feel like after the first house everyone would pretend their legs are broken so they didn't have to go back outside haha :)

We spelled it perogie, and we stuffed our with mashed potatoes onions and lots of cheddar cheese. When money is tight we make a bunch of these and eat them for lunch and dinner, as a result my mum can't stand them anymore.

Oh and we make our way too big, my grandma gets mad at my mum for this(they don't get along anyways though)

I'm just someone who likes to cook and eat food, old recipes or new, familiar Ingredients or something unheard of till now, and it truley makes me happy to be able to share this with anyone that I happen to be cooking or baking for. Just as simple as that.

@olderworker, I had that exact bad for years as a teenager and can tell you the sheets were kinda a b*tch to change. I'm sure if you had an actual loft it would be easier, but basically you have to be on the bed to change the sheets, and being on the bed makes it hard to lift the edges to get the sheets under.

That said, I loved that bed so much. My apartment looked a lot like that living room when I moved out the first time into a bachelor pad. It rocked.
