ETA: They do say 'made to order' so perhaps that includes addressing the issues I bring up.

The Television Cabinet Reimagined, Hides Away Screen

I like it but I have a few issues:
1. Glass shelves always seem tacky. They have an 80s feel and get dusty really fast
2. None of the designs have an open shelf centered under the TV. If I'm going to spend 4-8K on something that holds the TV, I'm going to spend a lot on the TV and surround sound system. That means a center speaker. It's very hard to find a TV console that accommodates those well.
3. 36 inches is a about 12 too high. I don't care to look up at the TV from the couch.

So.. (setting aside the price) the concept is great -the details make it a no go.

Next they'll put a keyboard at the bottom and call it revolutionary

I'd like it if the graphics were larger.
Cost per bulb is one thing, cost of bulbs over 50k hours is another. For example, 42 incandescents @ 1.25 = $52.50 vs $36 for 1 LED.

I'm so annoyed that the clocks are 8 minutes apart.

I'm fine with turning it off. Sure kindles are just dandy blaa blaa blaa but it's far easier to just have a blanket rule rather than keep up with the thousands of devices on the market. Plus if you get to keep your kindle on then the guy next to you will pitch a fit because he can't have his nimble on blaa blaa blaa.

Survive for 10 minutes. Everything will be ok.

in a space where you are sitting, put it at eye level. far to often I see wonderful rooms ruined by a TV that is impractically high over the fireplace. Unless you are standing at a bar, this is bad for your neck and the quality of the picture.

I wouldn't mind the key chain option. Replace my disposable film camera I leave in the car in case of an accident.

While they are not rocks, I have a pair of these infinity outdoor speakers that sound fantastic. They are been soaked pretty well in a downpour and they are paint-able.

Awsome. A device that does more than one thing is a device that has more than one way to fail.

I love Dyson. We have 3 of them.

BUT our original handheld DC31 is a giant regret for us. The battery life is generally 30 seconds. When we first bought it we may have had about 2 minutes tops. We were not looking for a heavy duty vac. Just something to hit the car seats or even just pickup the pile after sweeping. It hardly does the job.

These newer models may have much better batteries but, A vacuum is a taxing device. Beware!

I have a really small power strip in my bag. It has a cord that is only about 3 inches long and has three sockets.

(the cord wraps around and plugs into one of it's own sockets for storage).

This allows me to share any outlet I need to plug into. Then I can not only plug in anywhere but, I won't be hogging the plug.

Paint brush has always been my favorite. I use it dry, then hit the keyboard with windex-like cleaner, brush again, then wipe down with paper towel. Good as new.
