These had been my favorite maps (and still are some of my top picks) for a while now. Lately I'm loving this interactive one though -- http://starturl.com/lgghy

If you mounted the lanterns high enough (sort of like in the nursery on Under the Sycamore - http://ashleyannphotography.com/blog/2009/06/30/entering-the-girl-world-the-nursery/) you'd be able to avoid seeing cords going up to the ceiling. You could potentially even mount a surge protector to the ceiling for them to plug into and only have a single cord going down the wall.

If you wanted them to hang a little lower you could probably arrange the lanterns the same way they are in the link, but mount them to a lightweight frame and suspend the frame from the ceiling.

I think the bend is super cute! I wonder if it could be removed so a twin mattress could slide in instead of the crib mattress. Anyone know the measurements and if that's a possibility?

We're working on redoing our backyard to be tot firiendly and were trying to decide between grass or mulch all over. I never thought about using artificial turf. Any tips on where to get it from? And how does water drain off it when it rains?

My mom did the same thing with us as kids - except with pudding instead of paint.

It certainly could be framed easily. It'd also make for a cute pillow. Or you could start a collect of meaningful clothes and make a lap quilt from it.

I love the colors! Muted, without being your typical pastel. The giraffe on the closet door is so cute! Where'd you find it?
