drjt2002: I think I picked up the coasters at a dollar store, but I'm sure you could get them at a Bed, Bath, and Beyond type of place. Good luck in the hunt.

dru: In regard to your comment to Protogarrett, the bed in the initial photo isn't from Modernica (see my first comment, five spots up). Really. I swear. I took the photo of it (which Daniel, the reader who initiated this post, must have found on my blog), and I can attest that the bed is from DWR. It's cheaper than the Modernica version, but they look exactly the same.

Hi, there. Thought I'd chime in as that's my photo of our apartment at the top there. Thanks to my lovely sister-in-law for letting me know my bedroom shot was posted on AT. We got our bed from Design Within Reach (who offer the size we have - queen - for a few hundred dollars less than Modernica, unless you can catch that sale mentioned above). It's ridiculously comfortable, thanks more to the mattress than the frame, I imagine. Rubber coasters to protect wood floors are a must - you can see in the photo that we use them. This is the only piece of new, non-used furniture that we own, and it's awesome. I highly recommend it.
