Great roundup! Need to bookmark this page ;)

I've been baking gluten-free (and vegan) for 2 years and I actually like it more than when I baked with the regular eggs and wheat. Really! It's not as complicated as it seems - you just need to look for the alternative flours to have on hand so you can make something impromptu just by reaching into your cabinet.

I would like to share a few of my favourite recipes from my blog:

Spiced Dessert Balls
Simple Spring Muffins
Apple & Cranberry Cake & Muffins
Rich Chocolate Mousse Cake

Happy baking! xo

Adorable!
But I was going to say if it's also a guest room at the moment - you have about 5 years to go for your girl to use that bed, I would think, as I have a 4 1/2 year old and I would not let her sleep unsupported on the sides and up so high.
But the design and colour scheme is super sweet. What a great big room she has - lucky girl ;D xo

One recipe that I want to share is for my Sweet Potato and Lentil Casserole it's a great healthy dish that's vegan and gluten-free, and also high in protein and fibre..... Enjoy ;)

AT you are awesome! I love the community and the exposure the little guys (designers/ bloggers) get from time to time.

Some people have very high entertainment expectations - these people will never be happy with what's in front of them. There are thousands more that look for inspirations and design suggestions and ideas here every day ;)

One big suggestion I have is to connect with social media more - such as Facebook and Pintrest.

And please extend your giveaways & awards internationally (or at least to Canada ;)

I love it! You must have had good cabinets to begin with and you're so lucky that only painting them did the trick ;)
I love the white tiles and wood countertop and moving that enormous fridge was key! OMG I can't believe it was previously between these beautiful windows - yuck! That is another beautiful feature - your windows and french doors ~ love 'em ;)
(we are currently going with phase two in our kitchen ~ it's functional after a reno but shelving and drawer pulls need to go up) - it is a lot of work - so a big Congrats!

I love the human and honest experience that you get from a blog. I love the connections and friendships made with like minded individuals. I write my blog and read other blogs for that connection. And I love to share real-life experiences with others that inspire, encourage and add happiness - while keeping it real.

It's true, blogs changed everything!
(btw, is there a clip from that seminar?)

Great timing for us as I'm in the middle of the planning process for a kitchen reno. And white subway tiles has been my choice for a while - but lately I was doubting it's 'chic' factor ;) And yes, black and white always looks good - that's where we're heading ;)

Can you guys do a post with open shelving for inspiration - - something I could forward to my husband to convince him to go with it for our kitchen ;)

ps. Coconut Milk is very healthy for everyone not just vegans. I hope many people will give it a try and switch from heavy whipped cream.

Coconut milk is loaded with vitamins and minerals. Helps to maintain blood sugar, keeps skin and blood vessels flexible and elastic, aids in building strong bones, relaxes muscles and nerves, controls weight, lowers high blood pressure, maintains a healthy immune system... and is delicious ;)

Your story is very touching...

I also find cooking healing but in a different way. I had a health crisis about 3 years ago and lost control of my body and fell into deep depression. I finally realized that what I did have control over was what I put in my mouth. And a shift in my diet and attitude has helped me heal. I loved my time in the kitchen as it was a determined step towards my recovery.

And I was right - changing to an almost vegan and gluten-free diet - continues to fix my body from a (medically untreatable) autoimmune neuromuscular disease. I love trying out new recipes and feeling good about what I make for my family.

So my healing journey is different but it very much involves my kitchen on a daily basis. xo

What a great brand, the man himself, along with the interview. Finally great variety of flours that are of great quality that you can trust.
I'm a huge fan of the quinoa, millet, almond flour - I haven't yet tried the hazelnut flour - sounds divine ;)
Finally flours, other than wheat - are readily available - thank you Bob!
Any chance you'd branch out into baked goods - I'm sure a crusty sourdough wheat free bread by Bob's Red Mill would be amazing! ;)

I like parts of how this kitchen turned out.
The openness is great as are the natural materials.
I also find it's hard to relate to the before shot. Did you close off a window or move the kitchen?

I like the shelf on top instead of kitchen cabinets - but it looks unfinished. I would love to see some large decorative pieces hung or leaning against the wall on these shelves. And maybe some bigger storage boxes or jars to bring in more height. Too many little things for my taste.

And wow. Those conter tops are not budget friendly. Good to know, as I am just researching for our kitchen reno.
