STILL no source for that wicker "egg" chair, huh? Dang it!

My best deal was in a prewar brownstone on Restaurant Row in NYC from 95-98. It was a one-room studio, about 550 sq. ft., with huge double oak doors, 13 foot ceilings, two chandeliers, and a bed loft. I paid $850, utilities included. And since the owners also owned the restaurant below, I got a free meal every time I paid the rent. It was amazing.

The only scented candles I use are Votivo, and sparingly. (Yankee Candles makes me gag.)

I adore P'kolino—we have several (small) pieces in my son's room. That said, at their price points the ONLY schools these will ever go in are high-priced day cares and private schools. Which is a shame, since thoughtful design like theirs would benefit all children.

Love it! Will be doing this when my son's old enough to talk!

@BJON: Oh boy...I don't think you realize how many readers Apartment Therapy has. Having made such a generous offer, though, I suspect you'll soon find out!!!! (If we lived nearby, we'd definitely take you up on it!) Lovely job and family!

Installing a single bowl sink during our remodel was one of the smartest things we ever did. I will never, EVER, E-VER again have a double sink.

As the proud owner of a Meyer lemon tree, I can tell you that we have to be creative with our fruit—last year we had dozens upon dozens upon dozens of lemons!

This year, we kept it simple: we froze a cup and a half of pure juice in individual Mason jars and will thaw as needed, using mostly to make Meyer Lemonade and my husband's killer Meyer Lemon Lavender Cake.

I'll keep the chutney in mind for next year!

I purchased two dolls from Timo Handmade and absolutely love them–one's in my son's room and the other's in ours.
