Right on, Annie-O! Flouride's a poision that does not belong in anything we use. In Calif, they snuck it into the water supply without telling anyone. Absolutely shameful.

Hand wipes are essential.
Also bring a note book for measurements, phone numbers of vendors, color swatches of things you want to match.
A rolling cart is essential. No fun lugging a heavy bag around 10 acres of flea market.
I also bring a hat, sunscreen and a parasol. A fun day out will be spoiled by a bad sunburn.

I would need at least two of these for all my craft stuff.

You don't have to have everything matchy-matchy. If you like it, it will probably fit. Avoid green walls. The reflected like is very unflattering.

If you really hate them that much, then cover them with floor-to-ceiling curtains. Even better, tack up drywall panels and cover up everything. That way you'll see how much better the apt looks with the windows.

The best trick for the windows is to keep the sunlight from hitting the glass. Bamboo blinds, screens, window film, foam core covered with aluminum foil, anything you can think of. Short of that, insulated curtains are a must.

Put cool water on your kitty's chest to cool her down.

Consider covering the design on the tiles with some sort of stickers. Change the handles on the cupboards. Put up colorful cafe curtains on the windows and a large, colorful painting on the wall and the walls will fade into the background.
